The Petite Leash is an all-time favorite of small pet owners. Simple, easy to use and always convenient.

Most orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.  Some made to order items may require additional processing time, please allow 1 week for handcrafting in this scenario.  Processing times are separate from the shipping times you see at checkout.

Free shipping on all U.S. orders over $50, orders with free shipping will be mailed USPS first class (under 1 pound) or USPS priority mail (over 1 pound).


HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

For U.S. orders, If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@mendotapet.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Within 60 days of purchase if you are not fully satisfied with any of our products you purchased on our website, we will refund your product purchase price no questions asked (within United States and Canada only) Please see our return policy page for additional information.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at support@mendotapet.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

My feline (Squeaky) is a little too stout for any comfortable feline halters; but I cannot let her outside to 'free roam' as we have too many 'birds of pray' in our area. This 'Petite Snap Leash' was absolutely PERFECT in size, length and weight; wherein I simply clip it onto her collar where her ID tag hangs and off we go!

Much thinner than I anticipated

The measurement of the width of the leash is accurate. I thought it would be 1/8" thick all around, but it is flat and thin, like a shoelace for a dress shoe. It's well made; it's just very thin.

I have a3 pound puppy. She will stay small under 8 pounds full grown. I am looking for a leash that is light weight and has a small clasp thought won’t weigh her down. Do you recommend a fine or medium in your petite leash?

Hello, The snaps on our Petite line are coated Zinc 1/4" (fine and Medium weight) and 3/8" (heavy weight). The 3/8" snap has a shorter snap neck than the Mendota Snap Leash 3/8" brass.
