Length

Hunt Collars – A must have for the working dog. Great looking, extremely durable with a center “safety” ring to relieve pressure when caught. Available in Narrow (3/4″) and Wide (1″) styles.

      Sizes: Narrow: 3/4″ x 10″, 12″, 14″, 16″ and 18″
                     Wide: 1″ x 14″, 16″, 18″, 20″, 22″ and 24″

NOTE: Length is determined by the middle hole on the 5 hole-punched side, meaning each collar is adjustable 2" up or down from its indicated size (example: 18" collar is adjustable from 16" to 20").

Most orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.  Some made to order items may require additional processing time, please allow 1 week for handcrafting in this scenario.  Processing times are separate from the shipping times you see at checkout.

Free shipping on all U.S. orders over $50, orders with free shipping will be mailed USPS first class (under 1 pound) or USPS priority mail (over 1 pound).


HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

For U.S. orders, If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@mendotapet.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you. 

REFUNDS, RETURNS, AND EXCHANGES

Within 60 days of purchase if you are not fully satisfied with any of our products you purchased on our website, we will refund your product purchase price no questions asked (within United States and Canada only) Please see our return policy page for additional information.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at support@mendotapet.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Great collar - I'd go one size bigger than the process suggests.

This is a really nice collar - thick, well finished, solid hardware, and I love the ring that sits up on top that makes hooking the pup up to a lead so much easier.

I'd go up one size from what the measuring process suggests - we came up with a 14" following the process, and while it works, the collar is on the last hole - I'd prefer a longer tab coming out of the buckle.

I purchased the leather hunt collar from Amazon. Just wish there was a sizing chart available when I made my purchase, I would have ordered a 12" length instead of a 14" for my Beagle. Love the collars, excellent made collar.

Hi, I bought one of your leather dog collars with the hook ring on the back 3/4” 16” long. Chestnut. We love it on our dog however the brass ring and buckle are discoloring our white dog to the point we finally want to replace it. Do you have stainless steel hardware or something that won’t turn? Please let me know I would like one of your collars but if you don’t I will have to look elseware. Thank you

Hello, The safety ring can be used to clip your lead on, leaving d-ring free for ID tags. The safety ring also allows collar to rotate around pups neck if hung up in brush/branches.
