Mendota Center Ring Collar

I use this one my dog training table. The dogs are not concerned with pain in their necks. Training sessions are enjoyable by me and my pups. I think the quality of this collar will last me through a whole pack of dogs.

I've had one of these collars for each of my labradors (I'm on number 5) and have done so for decades. For each dog it really has been a lifetime collar that survives water, snow and dirt. I really like the top ring (yes, it really stays at the top) for quick leash hook-up. The hardware is also top-notch - well made and tough.

I made the review below and it came up 5 stars. I'd give it 1 star based on poor quality and nice looks.

I have several Mendota slip leads and snap leads which we use exclusively for our English Setter. I'd read other reviews about this collar fraying quickly, but chalked it up to whining because of the top quality I'd come to expect from Mendota products. Within a day the collar frayed where you put the buckle point into it.the edges began to fray the very next day after taking our dog for a run on trails through the woods. I am completely put off by the above "5.00 out of 5" rating which is based on 17 reviews. Deceptive. You mean to tell me you've only sold a total 17 collars and nobody had an issue. This is NOT what I expect from a quality company that I've faithfully used in the past. Can't imagine what this collar will look like in a month, or 6 months. Bad business, Mendota!

Mendota leads and collars are top quality. They have been my choice for 6 different dogs spanning 3 decades. The center ring collar is perfectly designed to allow the lead to be secured on the back of the dogs neck

5 stars to Mendota for superior quality and customer service, always! Unfortunately I did have to return this collar but only because it was a little too heavy on my girl. Quick and easy return process and money refunded easily. I will continue to purchase from Mendota for years to come.

Mendota was the only provider of a hunter green and brass woven collar I could find and it is a quality collar.

Not very good with the leads, walker and collar. All black. The orange ones are perfect.

These collars are well-built and durable. I believe the dogs think they' Comfortable as well.

Well made collar that seems very sturdy, and easy to adjust to fit our dog. Looks very smart and the range of colours is great!

SO much better than a collar with set holes. Perfect fit every time.

I love this collar. On walks it makes it easy to take off the lead and let my girl run in a field, and then re-connect when we have to go back near roads. Having the leash attachment at the back of her neck instead of at the front really makes things easier!

Bought two collars and two leashes for our GSP. The collar sites comfortable on them and the fabric doesn't bother them. I couldn't be happier with the leashes and can't wait to break them in.

Product came exactly as advertised; however, I wish there was a size option that wasn't standard or puppy.ťmy border terrier actually falls in between the puppy and standard collar sizes.
