Mendota Pro Trainer Slip Collar

This is our 2nd purchase of a slip collar from Mendota. We are very pleased with the quality of the collars and the results when using them. Our Boston Terrier and Standard Poodle have gotten into serious fights on occasion. We had a hard time separating them before one or both of them were seriously bitten, along with one us us getting injured in the melee!! After some research we purchased one Mendota Slip Collar for the Boston. It really helped us separate the dogs before anyone got hurt!! The collar works so well with our Boston that we decided our Spoo would benefit from one too!!

I love the convenience of having the function of the slip lead while attaching any leash I want to it, long or short! My only complaint is since I have a pittie AKA big head I had to order one that expands big enough to go over his head, but once I tighten it the remaining bit is quite long - I end up holding right where the leash clip joins the ring if I’m walking in heel. I wish the sizes maybe went by single inches…
