Mendota Swivel Slip Leash

The swivel slip lead is fantastic. Teagan like to do 3 circles before a potty break. No more twisted leads!! Great, quality product.

My otherwise leash compliant dog, tries to spin while we are working, whether in a come/follow, a heel or a stop/sit. He is just overexcited, not avoidant. This lead allows me to deal with his issue, without totally twisting his lead so that I have to "unrevel" it, before we can continue! It's almost a perfect tool for us, under our circumstances!!

I love this leash for my King Charles. My only request is they make one with a smaller swivel to make it a little lighter for smaller dogs.

Mendota Swivel Slip Leash

I've been using Mendota leashes for years now. Craftsmanship and quality are always superior and I do love the variety of colors and I'm now trying out with a swivel and I like the weight. I like the feel. I like the functionality.

This is my go to lead for field trials with very excited cockers. No more twisted up lead that needs to be unwound. Sturdy enough for a dog that would do well at a tractor pull, the only reason to replace it is when it gets borrowed and doesn’t come back!

The swivel hardware makes the leash too heavy/impractical. I'd rather have a twisted leash.

You can tell the materials used are great quality, the only downside is that the leash can be heavy and long for training. The swivel leash is great for spins and tricks but again, the attachment used weighs the leash down. I end up holding the leash right on the other side of the swivel.

I love this slip leash. Its light enough my pup responds. It is also light enough to stuff in my pocket. Good product and highly recommend.

It swivels but doesn’t add any benefit. Also the metal swivel hardware is heavy so it weighs the leash down. Too lazy to return. I still use the original mendota slip.

Great quality as with all my Mendota pet products, however, I find that the swivel (for me and my 45 pound lurcher mixed breed rescue-- who is usually in the woods but who we are now training to stay close during more urban populated walks-- interferes with the feel of communicating easily through the lead. Others might not find that to be the case. We are just going to exchange for the regular slip leash without the swivel.

Great leash since it doesn't get tangled and so easy to get on and off. Wish Mendota would make 2 handle swivel leashes for easier city walks if you want to keep your pet closer.

Was using a wonder walker for my 70lb dog and finally switched to a slip lead.. SO much better. Easy to use and adjust. The little leather locker doesn't slip or get loose. Getting another.

I love this leash and the other one I have from Mendota. They are my favorite and I recommend them to all my friends. All of my dog trainers use them and I am about to order some more. I couldn't recommend a product more, I am sure that my dogs are secure with this leash!

The leash is gorgeous, we loved it, we just ordered the wrong one! I contacted Mendota and sent the wrong leash back. Within 5 days we had the right leash in our mailbox! Our pup LOVES this leash and it has drastically improved our training. 5 stars! Will definitely shop again with Mendota.

I volunteer at rescues and always take my own leashes. I have so many types of leashes but none compare to this one. Many shelter dogs usually are learning how to leash walk. Often times, the leash is getting tangled since they zigzag. With this leash, that's no longer an issue. This is now my go to leash.
