This soft, yet durable Slip Collar is sleek and discreet. The Collar is made of sturdy nylon material with the hardware being made of Nickel Plated Zinc.

  • Fine Weight:       1/8" width
  • Medium Weight: 1/4" width
  • Heavy Weight:    3/8" width

Most orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.  Some made to order items may require additional processing time, please allow 1 week for handcrafting in this scenario.  Processing times are separate from the shipping times you see at checkout.

Free shipping on all U.S. orders over $50, orders with free shipping will be mailed USPS first class (under 1 pound) or USPS priority mail (over 1 pound).


HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

For U.S. orders, If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@mendotapet.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Within 60 days of purchase if you are not fully satisfied with any of our products you purchased on our website, we will refund your product purchase price no questions asked (within United States and Canada only) Please see our return policy page for additional information.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at support@mendotapet.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

This is a great idea but wrong material. We live in the woods and the nylon snags on the brush and twigs. The boys get hung up and the collars are fraying. Going to look for something more substantial with the same design.

This is a classic flat show collar that is sturdy enough to use everyday. The seams at the rings are woven in, so they will not rub the neck. It’s the same top quality I rely on from all Mendota products.

Do you make the heavy-weight slip collars in lengths under 18"? I have a whippet and need a much shorter length, but would like to have the strength and the width of the heavy weight size.

Dog has 10" neck. Do I order 10 or 12 " slip collar?

Our sizing for our Slip Collars is for the maximum opening that the collar can go; therefore I would suggest going up at least 1-2 sizes up to allow for growth or getting over the head from the actual neck size length.
