Mendota Show Slip Leash

Love this color and so much better than a harness people with dogs who are wearing a harness want to PULL they dont get they need a slip lead to connect with their dog. I know some dogs with eye conditions cannot be on a slip lead thats fine but these work beautifully and they are awesome!

I really like these light weight leads for training. The small dia. will "pinch" to get their attention and then as soon as they respond the "pinch" is released. Also they are great for puppies because of their light weight

Shipping was fast and love the leash! It's lightweight, works as intended, and I love the vibrant blue color. My only concern is that the leather is a little thin and it might not hold up for too long, but if I make sure this leash doesn't get chewed on or overused it should be fine. Overall a great purchase!

We have a german shorthair and stash these leashes all over for every day use. The leash is long enough for the figure out around the snout for gentle leader and has a adjustable tab to prevent if from slipping off.

Leash is pretty good. I have a 4# dog and wanted a leash that was not bulky. Collars are too big at this point so the slip lead was a good option so as to avoid a collar. I bought the 1/8" one which is about the right size. The problem is the leather tab wears out quickly and does not stay tight. It slips and at one point she slipped out of it because of this, and i hadnt been using the leash very long. Wish they could come up with a different fixture that wouldn't stretch out. I also wish the part your hand slips through could be adjustable.

Very light weight and easy to stick in a pocket. The rope is soft and smooth, allowing the ring to slide freely and easily so that it doesn’t tighten up and stay tightened. Love the quality of everything I have ordered from Mendota!!
