I have a German Shepherd and a Malinois. They both field flush. The Malinois has very thin underside and this protector is awesome. Its sturdy and holds up to just about anything. I've never had one rip. I just wish this company made (top) vests with the same material and quality.

Mendota skid plate

Shipping was incredibly fast and the product works great! Only had it for 2 days that I was able to take the dog out but prior products my brittney would come out of the raspberry bushes all cut up. Not with the Mendoza skid plate. It is a nice snug fit that has many adjustable straps for an extremely comfortable/snug fit. Will not be buying a different one as long as the skid plates are still made.

I purchased a "skid plate" for my 70lb lab. I went to Mendota Pet and they helped me "size" the "skid plate" for my dog. I just returned from a week of pheasant hunting and it worked perfect!! Thanks for the great product and wonderful service!!
