Leather Slip Leash - Chestnut (Rolled & Standard)

I loved this slip lead from the start and it just gets better as it softens up. I have a rolled collar from here that’s lasted for years and I would anticipate the same from this. It’s great quality and well worth the price.

The quality of products are great and their customer service should be emulated by other companies.

This review is for the rolled leather leashes:
Nice quality, attractive leash, however it is listed as being 3/4” in diameter when it is in fact 7/16”. Customer service said they would address it and they did change the listing diameter to 5/8” - still wrong.

Ordered this slip lead for a new pup and have been very pleased with the product (and the pup too!). Quality leatherwork/craftmanship plus the simple but versatile design, have made this a go-to for training, walks, etc...

It’s beautifully made and works just like it is supposed to. My only slightly negative comment is that the leather needs to be conditioned so it is softer.

I work at an outdoor doggie daycare facility and these slips have been a game changer for me. The heather holds up well in the wet and dirt very well, gives great grip, harder for a dog to chew through and the leather stays soft. My only complaint is that the leather stopper gets loose and becomes useless but I don’t really need it to stay one size so it’s not the end of the world for my use. I can’t go back to nylon slips after using these.

This is a well made, beautiful leather slip leash. However, the small leather adjuster slides on the leash causing it to loosen the opening around my dogs neck, which then makes it too easy for her to pull. It just doesn’t work for our dog the way it should.

This makes walking my very friendly puppy so much easier. He does not pull as much and stays close by. I think I want the 6 ft one for when he gets bigger. It is very short.

This is the first slip leash I've bought and oh man I was missing out, it's much easier to get on and off my dog's neck than just using the tag collar, I have two dogs and this saves times and makes them more responsive to my commands (training them). The leather is good quality, I've had it for about 4 weeks and is holding real well, is beautiful too I got the chestnut color with gold accent loops and the Mendota Pet name is also in gold on the stopped, so pretty just as pictured on the website. Shipping was quick and and I think is a fair price for the construction and look of this, it sure will last years.
