Not exactly as advertised

This review is for the rolled leather leashes:
Nice quality, attractive leash, however it is listed as being 3/4” in diameter when it is in fact 7/16”. Customer service said they would address it and they did change the listing diameter to 5/8” - still wrong.

Quality craftmanship and overall great training tool

Ordered this slip lead for a new pup and have been very pleased with the product (and the pup too!). Quality leatherwork/craftmanship plus the simple but versatile design, have made this a go-to for training, walks, etc...

Mendota Leather Slip Lead

It’s beautifully made and works just like it is supposed to. My only slightly negative comment is that the leather needs to be conditioned so it is softer.

Great slip lead

I work at an outdoor doggie daycare facility and these slips have been a game changer for me. The heather holds up well in the wet and dirt very well, gives great grip, harder for a dog to chew through and the leather stays soft. My only complaint is that the leather stopper gets loose and becomes useless but I don’t really need it to stay one size so it’s not the end of the world for my use. I can’t go back to nylon slips after using these.

Quality leather

This is a well made, beautiful leather slip leash. However, the small leather adjuster slides on the leash causing it to loosen the opening around my dogs neck, which then makes it too easy for her to pull. It just doesn’t work for our dog the way it should.
