Testing Out DERMagic Shampoo and Conditioner for Dogs

December 27, 2016

Make bath time a fun experience for both you and your dog. One way to do this is to use a shampoo and conditioner designed specifically for your K-9 friend. DERMagic has some shampoo and conditioner you may want to use. Click here if your interested in checking out their products. I got to try these products out on this lucky dog below. His name is Ollie.

The Guinea Pig

Now bath time isn’t his favorite (he isn’t a big fan of water), but deep down inside I’m sure he was just as excited to try out these products as I was. Previously to DERMagic, after bathing he still had that distinct wet dog smell. This smell would then be all over my apartment as he would proceed to rub his wet body all against the carpet and the couch. He really doesn’t like being wet.

The Shampoo

If you’re looking for a shampoo that smells amazing and still gets your dog clean, then this is it. This is an all natural shampoo made with ingredients such as peppermint and tea tree oil. Ollie was smelling fresh after using washing him with this. I used about a dime-sized amount then lathered it on Ollie’s back after wetting him down. After rinsing him off I followed it up with conditioner.

The Conditioner

I’ve never really thought about using conditioner on my dog before using this product, but now I will every time. Ollie’s fur was so soft that I didn’t want to stop cuddling with him and it was shinier than usual too. Plus this conditioner is also made with peppermint and tea tree oil so he smelled great. Goodbye wet dog smell!
