EZ Step-In Harness for Small Pets (Nylon)

Our 5lb pup was difficult to fit in most harnesses and many that did fit were fully and heavy for such a small dog. Plus her hair was constantly matting from the friction. This harness has been ideal. I quickly bought a second one and the coordinating leash, which she does well on unlike how she did with the heavier leashes for small breeds and puppies.

Hello,

I purchased a small nylon pet harness from you for my small cat. The harness did not hold. I was walking my cat and she got spooked pulled on the harness and the plastic buckle unlatched. She ran and was stuck up a tree for two whole days. This harness is not secure. It does not hold. The plastic buckle fastener unlatches. It is not safe.

I’d like a refund.

These harnesses and leashes are great…very lightweight but perfect for my mini dachshund! They are very adjustable and great to put over her fleece or sweater while just as good directly on her! I highly recommend! Also very quick shipping! A+++ all the way!

My poodle is comfy; it’s lightweight, no chafing or neck pressure.

Fast shipping. Item came as ordered.

We purchased the harness for our 6 pound puppy. This harness is for hamsters and guinea pig sized animals not for small puppies.

The quality appears good and durable but too small for our use.

Purchase somewhere else. There are plenty of options. I accidentally ordered the wrong size collar and they wont exchange it.

Finally the tiny pets get nice things! Can’t wait for more colors!

I have the right measurements but there’s no way to adjust the halter to fit tighter.

I bought a couple of harnesses for my mini golden doodle and her sister! They are easy to put on and comfortable enough for the pups to wear them all the time! They even blend in with their fur color so it's a win win! Definitely will be buying from Mendota Pet again :)

The fabric on the leashes are nice. They came in a jumbled tangled mess that was tedious to untangle. Obviously presentation of their product is a non issue. The main problem I have is the martindale leashes do not work. Either they size is ok, no room for tightening or the collar part is to big and just falls off. It needs a connection to hold the collar on, and then the loop would tighten as needed. I had to cut labels to get untangled. I didn’t see a receipt or address to easily make any returns. The leashes with the clip was nice, I can use on collars I already have.

Love the harness but it is a touch too small for my 7lb papillon. We did measure according to the size chart. It is a little snug behind her arms, near armpit area, and while she tolerates it, she doesn’t seem comfortable especially for a longer walk. I’ll be exchanging, but still love the product and it is exactly what I’m looking for.

Perfect

This is the Perfect harness for small pups with thick long coats. Can’t even tell she’s wearing it and very thin light weight. My Pom weighs 5 lbs with very long coat small fits perfect.

The harness (2) are not working for my Maltese. I can't get them to fit comfortably. My little boys dislike.

Would have been perfect but way to small.

I really liked the harness I only wish I had ordered the next size up. I wish you had more choices available in the step up harness

How old is Tony to work better for my dog. Former harness is causing many tangles and this one because it's so cute and isn't causing a problem.

This is the fourth harness that I've bought, and finally this is the one that works! All of the other ones were too difficult to fasten on my cat, or she was able to wriggle out of them, or she would just flump over and lay on the floor or move awkwardly. This harness has such narrow straps, my cat doesn't feel like there's anything on, but it's very secure and adjustable both around the chest and behind the front legs. She doesn't flump over or walk funny and is very secure.

Wonderful for small dogs!

I was so excited to try these harnesses. They didn’t fit our dogs no matter how we adjusted them.

Happy with this purchase. It was hard to find a harness that fit our small chihuahua.

This is a very easy harness for little dogs, mine is 5 pounds, to wear. The nylon is slim and supple. I wish they made the OLDER version which was even better but the newer version is still great.

I love this harness and leash! My dog is 5 lbs and it’s very hard to find something lightweight with a latch on the leash that isn’t so large it hits her in the head or face when we walk. This is perfect and I’ll be ordering more colors!! Thank you!

Although this is listed as large , it is a for a small dog. Be aware when ordering this product that the size is different that most larges

When I measured my Pomeranian this was the perfect size but when I got it it’s a little tight

I have been searching for something like the EZ Step-In Harness for Small Pets (Nylon) for my Pomeranian for years.

I always hated the harnesses that covered up such a beautiful coat.

When I came across Mendota,
I bought three.

I would highly recommend..

I absolutely love the product and my dog's love them too..

Thank you Mendota for the quality of your products and for keeping the price reasonable. This was the 3rd harness I’ve purchased from you and I’m always pleased.

Too small. Even the medium was too small. Are they for cats and Ferrets?
